Helical Anchors Installed at Tswalu Kalahari Game Reserve
We recently installed 96 helical anchors to support the tension cables of new safari tents at Tswalu Kalahari Game Reserve. Rock was however encountered at relatively shallow depths in certain areas.
Overall, design loads were obtained and, in some cases, certain adjustments had to be undertaken to meet the ultimate loads. The total installation duration was completed in 8 days (Split into 3 separate trips to site).
