Support of Road Signs

Helical piles used for road signs support have a connection base plate at the top end of the pile. The foundation derives its lateral load capacity from its length and diameter and the properties of the soil. The base plate can be round or square with a fixed or variable bolt circle.

Typical foundation lengths are 1.5m, 2.4m and 3m.

Typical diameter of the shaft are 152mm to 228mm.

Support of Gantries

Portal Gantry Foundations for motorway signs can be fixed using helical pilling method due to massive savings in cost, manpower, materials, and time combined with the health and safety and ecological benefits that this process provides.

Helical pile Portal Gantry Foundations Support many structures that we encounter in our daily lives and provide completely safe, solid bases that can be rapidly installed at considerably less cost than their concrete pile counterparts.

Support of Traffic lights

Our helical piles used for traffic light supports come job-ready with pre-engineered details that includes cut-outs in the pipe shaft to accommodate electrical cables required for the signalling. Save significant time over concrete methods and start working more efficiently with AHPAC foundation systems.

Support of CCTV poles

Our helical piles used for CCTV pole supports come job-ready with pre-engineered details that includes cut-outs in the pipe shaft to accommodate electrical cables required for the CCTV. Save significant time over concrete methods and start working more efficiently with AHPAC foundation systems.

Support of bridges

Short and medium span bridges are frequently supported by group of steel driven piles. The main advantage of using helical piles to support bridge structures is the speed of installation, cost effectiveness and their high resistance to compression and uplift loads. The high compression and tensile capacities of helical piles are likely to reduce the number of piles required to support the loads for bridges which generally reduces the foundation costs. The speed of helical pile installation with minimal level of noise is really another differentiating factor for use of helical piles.

Support of street light

AHPAC light pole support piles are a quick and reliable foundation method for at grade and above grade applications to support street, site and parking light poles.

Soil Nailing

Soil nailing is a technique for reinforcing a slope by introducing galvanised steel supporting bars that pass through the expected failure plane for the slope. Installed with a slight downward inclination, the steel nails support the soil mass in front of and behind this failure plane.

Soil Stabilisation

Slope stability comes in many forms, however one of the most effective is to use helical piles  inserted into the slope or embankment to pin down a retaining wall and form a barrier. Where a retaining structure is required, screw-piling often offers a fast, convenient and cost-effective slope stability aid.
