CESA

Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) is a voluntary association of Consulting Engineering. The organisation serves as a channel for clients and member firms to address industry concerns while at the same time providing a platform for the sharing of information with the aim of assisting in optimizing the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects both in the public and private sector. African Helical Pile & Anchor Company works with members of the Association and continue to specify the use of helical pile products.

Deep Foundations Institute is an international association of contractors, engineers, manufacturers, suppliers, academics and owners in the deep foundation industry. Our engineers are members of DFI and also serve on their Helical Pile and Tiebacks Technical Committee.

ECSA

The Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) is a statutory body established in terms of the Engineering Profession Act (EPA), 46 of 2000. The ECSA’s primary role is the regulation of the engineering profession in terms of this Act. Its core functions are the accreditation of engineering programmes, registration of persons as professionals in specified categories, and the regulation of the practice of registered persons. The Engineers at African Helical Pile & Anchor Company are members of ECSA

SAICE

SAICE is the Learned Society and professional home for about 11000 civil engineers, technologists and technicians. SAICE members are planning, providing and maintaining the infrastructure which supports the everyday life and activities of modern society all over South Africa. The Engineers at African Helical Pile & Anchor Company are members of ECSA.

NHBRC

The National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) is a regulatory body of the home building industry. The Engineers at African Helical Pile & Anchor Company are registered as competent persons with the NHBRC.

SAFCEC

SAFCEC is an employer body, which represents South African Civil Engineering Contractors. Founded in 1939, the Federation is a voluntary association consisting of approximately 500 members who include established and emerging contractors as well as associate members who are suppliers of materials and services to the civil engineering contracting industry. SAFCEC supports all sizes of civil engineering contracting companies, including large, medium-sized and small contractors. SAFCEC is affiliated to Business Unity South Africa (BUSA). African Helical Pile & Anchor Company works with members of the Federation and continue to specify the use of helical pile products.

SACAP

The architectural profession in South Africa is governed and regulated by the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) in terms of Section 2 of the Architectural Profession Act No 44 of 2000 (‘the Act’). African Helical Pile & Anchor Company works with members of the Council and continue to specify the use of helical pile products.

SAAQS

The South African Council for the quantity surveying profession (SACQSP) is a statutory body that regulates the quantity surveying profession in terms of the Quantity Surveying Profession Act 2000 (Act 49 of 2000). African Helical Pile & Anchor Company works with members of the Council and continue to specify the use of helical pile products.

CIDB

The Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) – a Schedule 3A public entity – was established by Act of Parliament (Act 38 of 2000) to promote a regulatory and developmental framework that builds:

– Construction industry delivery capability for South Africa’s social and economic growth.

– A proudly South African construction industry that delivers to globally competitive standards.

SAIPPA

An Independent Power Producer is an entity, which is not a public electricity utility, but which owns and or operates facilities to generate electric power for sale to a utility, central government buyer and end users. IPP’s may also be privately-held facilities, such as rural solar or wind energy producers, and non-energy industrial concerns generating electric power for on-site use and who may also be capable of feeding excess energy into the distribution or transmission grid system.African Helical Pile & Anchor Company works with members of the Board and continue to specify the use of helical pile products.
